Miles Bloxson

Everything in Texas is BIG!  Miles’ dream of becoming a television journalist is no exception.  A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Communication, with a BA in Corporate Communications, Miles first realized this dream during her senior year in college.  After co-hosting a show called “Campus Life” on Austin’s Public Access Channel, her interest in this area peaked and grew into the BIG dream she is striving to achieve.

Born and raised in Austin, this Texas native has a passion for life, tech, fashion, music and pop culture.  After being accepted into the University of Texas at Los Angeles Communications Program, she quickly landed several internships in LA.  Miles interned at the Tyra Banks show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the Fox News LA Bureau in the entertainment news department. While at Fox, Miles quickly realized that she loved entertainment news and was given the opportunity to report on the red carpet for award shows, American Idol events and movie premieres. After, graduating she decided to take on another internship this time for In-Touch Magazine. She quickly moved from intern to a freelance reporter covering many red carpet events for the popular magazine.  She later hosted for California internet based companies Safe Worlds IPTV, Pynk Celebrity and Moguldom Studios (Madame Noire); while reporting for those media companies Miles covered sports, beauty and entertainment news. She also was a technology and sports contributor to The Front Page hosted by Dominique DiPrima on KJLH 102.3 FM in Los Angeles, CA for over 5 years.

She has been a contributor on KBLA 1580 and The Fox Soul Network. She has been featured in Austin Monthly Magazine, UT Connect, CultureMap Austin, NPR and Austin Woman’s Magazine.
